4 Great Remedies For Acne

Personally, I hate using acne medications and I'm willing to bet that you do too. Most of them dry your skin out and cause your skin to turn red. Many of the more popular treatments have side effects that are even worse then that. Some can even cause hair lose. I don't know about you, but I like my hair just the way it is right now. The good news is that you can treat acne naturally.

The Main Cause Of Acne

One of the main causes of acne is a build up of toxins inside your body. Your body will attempt to remove those toxins from your body. Just one of the ways your body will get rid toxins from your body is from the skin. For many people this comes out as acne. These bad toxins can come out of your body in other parts of your body too. However, this really all depends on the person.

Use Natural Skin Care Products

Natural skin care products are a must. Many of the more popular skin care products will only put toxins back into your body. Too many skin care products have lots of chemicals in them that will go straight into your pores. Shampoos, hair gels, and hair sprays can do this too. You need to find products that truly are natural. Don't take their word for it. Look to see what sort of ingredients are found in particular products.

Kill The Sugar

Almost all of us have a bit of sweat tooth in us. If you like sweats then your sweat tooth will need to be under control. This isn't just because sugar is bad for you and because too much of it can make you fat. Sugar creates problems by clogging up your digestive system and that leads to more greasy looking skin. We all know what oily skin leads too. Keep your sugar intake to a minimum. Just treat yourself to something like once and awhile.

Reduce Your Caffeine Intake

Caffeine is a great way to mess with your hormones. Coffee and chocolate are major sources of caffeine that need to be avoided. The problem with too much caffeine is that it has an effect on how well you can sleep. A good night sleep is very important for keeping your acne away. You should also know that the hormone that it really aggravates is the stress hormone. That is big problem because stress can cause acne.

As you can tell there is allot to this hole acne skin care thing. But if you follow these tips you should see a big improvement in your acne problems.

Skin Care Advice For Bad Cystic Acne

Cystic acne is the most severe type of acne a person can get. It can devastate ones self esteem and ruin their social life. It is very deep, red, and it can leave long lasting scars. As bad as these things sound acne is a condition that can be treated and it can even be cured with the right natural remedies. Today will take a look at common treatments and a few natural remedies that will help cope with your acne condition.

Skin Care

The first thing you will need is a good acne skin care regimen. This should become part of your daily routine. I would recommend that you stay away from most products that are made for acne. Allot of the products on the market have chemical in them that will do your body no good at all. It is best to stick with using products that contain lots of natural ingredients and very few chemicals. The odds are you will need to test out a number of different products before you find something right for you.

Eating The Right Foods

You should stop eating any foods that are loaded with sugar. Foods such as these will clog up your body and are hard to remove from your body. Dairy foods is another problem for many people. Calcium is good for you, but dairy doesn't get along well with most people. Another ingredient you should avoid is caffeine. Something else that should be avoided is greasy foods and fried foods.

There are still plenty of foods that you can eat. Some of the best foods you can eat are vegetables and fruits. If you get creative you can do allot with just those foods. For meat you really can't beat fish. It is by far and away the best meat you can eat. Of course you be careful of pollution in the fish.

Natural Remedies

If you want a few things that you can try to get quick results then you should enjoy this remedies. I want you to keep in mind that these remedies are not the long lasting cures that you might like. They may help reduce your acne, but they will not get rid of it for good.

The first remedy to try is green tea bags. Simply wet them and then rub the on the infected areas. Green tea is also a good drink for anyone who has acne. It is a very good antioxidant.

A raw potato is a popular remedy for treating acne white heads. The start can work at drying up those nasty pimples. Cut them up into nice small slices then put them on the areas that need it the most. You may want to rub the potato over your face.

Common Treatment for Acne Scars

If you've had severe acne blemishes, then most likely this has resulted in acne scarring, which can leave your skin with unsightly pockmarks long after the acne is gone.  There are several acne scar treatments available to help you address this problem. It's best to consult with a dermatologist or experienced physician to identify your best treatment option.

Microdermabrasion
This treatment is usually done in a series, over a period of weeks to produce the best results.Fine aluminum oxide particles are used to exfoliate and smooth the surface layer of the skin.It is similar to exfoliation, only stronger than what you can do at home.   This helps with minor acne scarring and discoloration, but may not be adequate for deeper scars.   If you have darker skin or hyper pigmentation, you may have some patchy discoloration following this procedure, so do some research and discuss with your physician to make sure you're aware of any potential side effects.

Photorejuvenation
This is a good option for treating discoloration and can give your skin a smoother skin tone.  Intense pulsed light (IPL) is used to treat individual lesions and discolored marks

Collagen Injections and Autologous Fat Transfer
Collagen may be injected into deeper scars, thus plumping and filling in the surface skin.Fat is often transplanted from one part of the body, then injected into the scar tissue.  Each of these treatment options is temporary, lasting from a few months to a year

Acne Laser Treatment
The right laser treatment will depend on your type of skin and the severity of scarring.  There have been many improvements in laser technology over the past several years. This typically provides great results for most acne scars, with the exception of the deepest ones.

Surgery for Acne
When other treatment options have failed, acne surgery is a good option to explore for deeper scars.  The scar can be removed in a "punch" technique, where the skin around the scar is punched out and then sutured back together so it can heal cleanly and smoothly.Subcision is another common scar treatment.  A needle is inserted under the scar and the fibrous bands of scar tissue are cut and released.  Following subsequent healing, the skin is usually smoother and appearance of scarring is improved.

Keep in mind that everyone's skin and scars are unique, so individual scar treatment results will vary.  However, there are plenty of options worth exploring and many improvements in recent years on laser technology and surgical scar treatment.  By working with an experienced dermatologist or surgeon, you should be able to find the best treatment for your own skin, and cure acne scars once and for all.  Click here to learn more about the best acne scar treatment.

All Natural Acne Remedies That Work

Acne is a skin condition that usually occurs at the onset of puberty in both males and women. There are various issues associated with this skin condition, which include poor hygiene, changes in hormone levels, excessive secretion of sebum, and the sort of food eaten by the individual. A home remedy for acne can be derived from many different and even unusual things. Some of the home remedies for acne can be uncomfortable to apply while others are grounded in common sense.

Herbal Acne Relief

Herbs are one of the first options that many look to for easy home solutions to their health problems. The reason why these supplements are usually considered a natural acne cure, is because herbs have been used traditionally to cure and treat many different problems in the human body. Some of the more common herbs for acne remedies are tea tree oil and nettle tea. Tea tree oil is sometimes directly applied on the face as an acne natural cure. Tea tree oil has antibacterial properties that are helpful in getting rid of the bacteria that are involved in the acne breakouts.

Nettle tea on the other hand is drunk as an acne remedy. Many herbalists advise drinking at least four cups of nettle tea per day, not only as a home acne treatment, but also to help other skin conditions that could be affecting you. Other herbs, as illustrated by the many acne articles around, that may work as home remedies include the extract of calendua flowers, burdock leaf tea, rose water, the application of wet basil leaves and many others.

Additional Acne Home Remedies

Other home acne remedies that are floating around - but may or may not get rid of acne - are toothpaste applied to pimples before going to bed, washing your face with vinegar, applying a solution of water and lemon juice, and many others. Bear in mind that some natural acne treatments may not work as well as others believe they are.

Herbal Acne Home Remedies

There are several herbal acne treatments for those who suffer from acne and want to try a natural acne treatment before resorting to harsh medications or topical acne treatments that contain chemicals. Some people have overly sensitive skin and cannot tolerate harsh acne medications.Acne has many causes, and is a painful and humilating condition that afflicts millions.  Some of the most common causes of acne include genetic predisposition to acne, hormonal changes, medical conditions, food sensitivities and allergies.

Herbal Acne Options for an All-Natural Acne Treatment

Tea Tree Oil for Acne – Tea tree oil is a good acne treatment, as tea tree oil is an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent. The Melaleuca Alternifolia plant, native to Australia, produces the tea tree oil. Don't use undiluted tea tree oil on your skin, but instead mix it with water (5 parts tea tree oil to 95 parts water) to make a 5% solution, and then dab it on your acne blemishes using a clean cotton ball. One benefit of tea tree oil compared to benzoyl peroxide is that it is less irritating.

Licorice Root for Acne – Licorice root is another great topical acne treatment.Apply the licorice root to your acne prone skin. Rinse it off after a few minutes.Licorice root has natural anti-inflammatory properies that can help to calm and heal your skin.

Strawberries for Acne – Strawberries are another surprising natural treatment for acne.  Gather strawberry leaves and wrap them in a clean cloth and use it as a poultice applied to acne prone skin.Another option is to cut the strawberries and apply them to your skin.Leave this on your skin for ten minutes, and then rinse.  You can also mix crushed berries with plan yogurt and apply as a mask.Leave the mask on your skin for about 15 minutes or so, and then rinse it off.  It is said that the leaves alter the PH balance of the skin.  And, strawberries contain salicylic acid which is a popular acne treatment.Eat strawberries as well - they help provide vitamins and antiodidants that are good for your skin.

Dandelion for Acne - Dandelion is well known as a detoxifying ingredient for the gallbladder, liver and digestive system.  Detoxifying is one natural acne remedy cure, because it flushes the build up of toxins from the body, which can clear the skin as a result.  You can search for many herbal teas on the market that have dandelion as an ingredient, or search for a recipe on-line to make your own dandelion tea.

Garlic for Acne – Garlic is a natural antibiotic and is often touted as a good cure for acne.Crush some garlic and mix it with warm water.  Apply to the acne prone skin with a clean cotton ball and leave on for several minutes prior to rinsing.

As with most natural herbal acne remedies, taking these internally also has a benefit.   So, you can eat strawberries, drink dandelion tea, and eat garlic or take garlic pills as a supplement.  Healing acne from the inside out by following a good acne diet is a good natural acne treatment that works to complement topical acne treatments that are applied to the skin.

How to Get Rid of Acne When you've Tried Everything

Have you experimented with nearly every acne product in an attempt to get rid of acne?   Then you know how frustrating it can be to try product after product and get no relief. When all else has failed, you may need to look at the bigger picture.

There are several potential causes of acne.  The most common form of acne that typically strikes teenagers is called acne vulgaris. The redness, inflammation and blemishes that make you feel so terrible about your appearance are triggered by puberty and hormonal changes.

However, there are other underlying causes of acne, including hormonal changes related to pregnancy, menopause, and other hormonal imbalances such as PCOS (polycystic ovary disease).  And, acne has even been linked to diet in some people. Acne can be caused by food allergies or other food sensitivities.   Even some prescription medications can have acne as a side effect.  Lamictal acne is one example where a drug has been linked to causing acne breakouts in some people.

Millions of people have acne, but that doesn't make you feel any better about it when you are the one who is suffering. You may feel shy socially, avoid people, and really lose confidence. Acne has even been linked to mental depression in some cases.   So, beyond a mere skin care condition, having acne has far reaching implications. Finding a way to get rid of acne is critically important.

Don't give up if you've already tried every acne topical skin care cream and treatment and have not found a cure.  There have been many advances in acne treatment, and sometimes just finding the right medical professional who can diagnose the root cause of your acne is the difference between continued suffering and finding a cure.  Consult a dermatologist or physician with experience in treating acne.  If your acne is determined to be hormonally related, birth control pills may be prescribed. If you suffer severe acne, it might be time to try some of the prescription acne medications.

Join an acne support group if you want to talk about your acne with others who have the same problem.  There are several websites that offer on-line acne forums where you can communicate with other acne sufferers, ask questions, and discuss various acne treatment options. You don't have to deal with acne alone, reach out and find support.

Finally, when it comes to persistent acne, if you can't find a cure, you seriously might want to look at taking an "inside out" approach. You'll need to change your diet, and the same advice you always hear applies to acne: eat more fruits and vegetables for antioxidants.  A poor diet can cause all types of health conditions, which manifest in the skin as acne.  Instead of treating acne symptomatically, instead look for the root cause and find a cure.

Also, always drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to flush toxins from your skin.   Some people believe acne is related to eating too much sugar, or even to insulin conditions like pre-diabetes. Consult with a trained nutritionist or physician, and have a complete physical with blood work to rule out any underlying medical conditions or imbalance.  You should find someone who can recommend the right acne diet, which typically is just a healthful diet that also promotes good skin as a result.Detoxification and balancing your body will have long term benefits to both your skin and your overall health.

You may also consider taking some of the new acne skin care supplements that have vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients that support healthful skin.  These are results of new scientific advancements in skin care and development of products known as "nutraceuticals."

The good news is that there are more solutions to get rid of acne being researched and developed all the time.  It is unlikely this will be a life-long condition, and more likely that by finding the right help, you will find a cure, and get rid of acne once and for all.

The Best Acne Treatment: How to Find It

Since there is no one who enjoys dealing with acne related skin problems, most people who suffer from such a skin condition try to use a variety of the many acne treatments that are available in an effort to clear up their skin and remove blemishes.  This is something that everyone wants, since skin conditions caused by acne have serious side effects, one of which is lowered self esteem.

Whether you have tried acne creams or acne medication in the past and not achieved the results you want, it is important to know that there is a best acne treatment out there for everyone, and what the best acne treatment is for one person may not be the best acne treatment for you. Everyone is different and so everyones acne condition needs to be treated differently.

The Best Acne Treatment: Which One?

Specifically, there are two acne treatment options that are considered to be the best available on the market.  One of these is Proactiv Solution.  This acne treatment uses three different steps to control acne.  The combination that it utilizes of prescription strength medications and skin relaxing lotions does more than simply get rid of current blemishes; it heals any damage already caused by acne and then prevents future acne breakouts.

The first of the three Proactiv Solution steps is to clean out your faces pores using a special cleanser made with prescription strength benzoyl-peroxide.  This cleanser contains small exfoliating beads which get rid of dead skin cells in order to make your skin fresher.

Then the second step involves the revitalizing toner which removes dead skin cells to help unplug pores, remove excess oil so that your skin is left looking refreshed, and the formula contains soothing botanical agents that will gently balance your skin tone.

The third and final step is a blemish healing repairing lotion which also prevents future acne breakouts by using prescription strength benzoyl that has been milled down to fine pieces.  All three steps of the Proactiv Solution process are fine to use with all skin types and is safe to use on your face.

The other best acne treatment is the acne surgery that is available. This is a procedure that is used to help treat serious acne conditions, and which will not necessarily be able to prevent future acne breakouts but will definitely be effective at treating the acne you have now.

Some Tips For Covering Up Acne

Although there are many effective over-the-counter and prescription medications for treating acne, curing acne takes a bit of time and so, while the medication is doing its work, a lot of people are anxious to cover up their spots as much as they can.

Having said this, it can be argued that because this is a condition that affects roughly 85% of the population between the ages of about twelve and twenty-four you shouldn't worry about trying to cover it up at all since nearly all of us go through it. Nonetheless, you try telling that to a young person who is going out on that critical first date.

Women in particular tend to suffer more as, like it or not, they are judged more on their looks. But, they are also luckily enough to have a ready-made answer in the form of makeup.

Normal makeup can cause difficulties and, while it may well cover up your pimples, it can also aggravate the condition. The answer here therefore is to purchase makeup that is formulated for people with acne and this means makeup that is labeled as 'non-comedogenic'. This term is derived from the word 'comedone' which is the medical name for the whiteheads and blackheads produced by most mild forms of acne.

Your first line of defense should normally be a concealer which can be dabbed onto acne spots using a disposable sponge. You need to be careful though in using a concealer and use only as much as you need and no more.

Following a concealer you need to move on to a foundation which is excellent for blending the tones of your skin and which again has to be used sparingly but enough to give you an even overall cover. Foundation is not only excellent at covering your spots but, since it is not as reflective as your skin itself, it also softens out the shadows and lessens the contrast produced by the bumps that occur with acne.

Finally, a light covering of powder will also help to further even out color tones, reduce shadow and eliminate contrast.

So much for the women, but what about the men? There are two approaches which you can adopt here. First, you can follow the women and apply makeup and you will discover that there is makeup available these days which is specifically formulated to be used by men. If, however, you feel that this is not for you then the second approach is to purchase one of the range of over-the-counter treatments which contain acne covering compounds designed to help treat the condition and hide its appearance at the same time.

Of course it would be great if we had a proactive acne treatment that could cure acne fast but at present clearing acne tends to be a somewhat slow process and so, until we have some products and treatments that get rid of acne quickly, effectively concealing the problem is going to be important to many sufferes for a while yet.

Is It Possible To Clear My Acne?

Dealing with acne can be a frustrating stage of anyones life. It can destroy your confidence and most people that have acne will try several treatments to try to get rid of their pimples. The problem is almost all the acne products out there don't actually work. So, what can you do to clear your skin?

First, you should understand why most of the acne products fail to work. The problem is that most of the products simply try to eliminate each zit as they appear instead of actually treating what causes acne. They treat pimples after they are already on your skin instead of trying to prevent new acne from popping up. This is a huge flaw and one that leaves most people frustrated by the treatments that they use.

The best acne treatments will make sure that it treats every cause of acne so that it treats your skin the proper way. By making sure that all the bases is covered you will be able to knock-out your acne and make sure that it doesn't come back. If you find a treatment that effectively treats all of the causes of acne, clear your skin for good.

So, how do you pick out an acne treatment? To be honest, some products will work better for some people than others. Sometimes your skin reacts better to a certain product. Just make sure the treatment you choose treats acne at the root of the problem and you will start seeing results. You should read some acne treatment reviews to see what has worked for other people. And please - try not to be upset if you have tried products that haven't worked in the past - you will get rid of acne once you start treating your acne with the right formula. Best of luck!

Three ways Herbal Treatments for Acne are a better alternative to Cleansers and Creams

What most people don't realize is that while treating acne on the skins surface does work, it's really the last line of defense to getting rid of acne causing bacteria and oil. The stuff that causes acne originates inside our bodies due to unbalanced processes or poor eating habits.

While diet is a key factor in reducing acne breakouts and excess sebum on the skin, there are some causes of acne that are not diet related. How ever they can be improve by herbal acne treatments that are taken orally each day.

I'm going to share with you three reasons ingestible acne treatment products such as Acnezine are better at stopping breakouts then the average topical treatments most people use.

1) While some herbal acne treatments do have side effects, they do not cause skin irritations like some topical acne treatments do. Since their taken internally they don't effect the surface of your skin by making your acne worse or causing a rash to break out.

2) It takes less time each day to pop a couple of orally taken herbal acne pills then it does to follow a three step acne treatment process twice a day. Most topical acne treatments are done in the morning and before bed, it's not a lot of time but it can be 20-30 minutes each day.

3) You have a high chance of success by taking  oral acne treatments. Why? Because the processes that cause breakouts are more or less the same inside people, how ever different people have different skin types. Some have very sensitive skin and there fore cannot use just any regular acne treatment product, they need to ensure it's safe for sensitive skin types.

I know some experts will argue with me that topical acne treatments are superior to herbal acne treatments, but even in the medical world acne is primarily treated with an orally taken medication. I suggest you read our acnezine review to learn more about how oral acne treatments effect your body, and how they can help you clear your acne.

Acne Product Review - Exposed Acne Treatment, is it the Best Acne Product?

This acne product review explores whether the Exposed Acne Treatment is really one of the best acne products on the market. With all the acne products out there, it's hard to make the right choice. Exposed Acne Treatment is well known as one of the top acne products you can get for your skin. Let's get into the details on how this product is different than all the other acne remedies on the market.

Acne skin care regimens include several steps to address acne. First off, the skin is washed with a specific cleanser for acne prone skin. Then, the skin is gently exfoliated. This will help to increase cellular turnover and prevent oil, bacteria, and dead skin buildup that could clog pores. Then, the skin is treated with active ingredients to treat acne and prevent breakouts. Lastly, the skin is conditioned to reduce inflammation and to hydrate and restore moisture balance. Acne skin care typically includes products that work together to combat several skin conditions common to acne.

Exposed Acne Treatment follows this approach, and is unique in that the formulation includes a combination of traditional active ingredients for acne, and natural active ingredients. These complementary ingredients work together to heal your skin. There's a lot of scientific research behind this product. The Exposed Acne Treatment line was developed as a collaborative effort of cosmetologists, naturopaths, dermatologists, and chemists. No over-the-counter product has the same number of active ingredients, so average products simply aren't as effective.

Active Ingredients

The active formulas contain ingredients that target acne to reduce blemishes, calm irritation, and protect.

Anti-Acne Actives:

  • Alpha hydroxy acids
  • Beta hydroxy acids
  • Green tea extract
  • Olive leaf extract
  • Micronized benzoyl peroxide
  • Tea tree oil

Anti-Irritation, Skin-Soothing Actives:

  • Allantoin
  • Aloe Vera
  • Hyaluronic Acid

Environmental Protection Actives:

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  • Cyclomethicone
  • Helichrysum
  • Micronized zinc oxide

Customer Testimonials

What sets Exposed Acne Treatment apart from other products, besides the extensive list of active ingredients? Apparently, the results speak for themselves! Customer testimonials and independent reviews posted across the web are exceedingly positive.

"This stuff is way better then anything I have ever used." - Kam - NE

"I just wanted to drop a line to express my gratitude for the Exposed skin care line. I have been using your products since January & I absolutely love them. My skin is near perfection now. I hear compliments all the time from family & friends about the clarity of my skin!! My skin is so soft & I barely ever get any pimples & if I do, they are completely gone within a matter of a couple days! Thank you so much!!" - Kati - South Euclid, OH

"I am 30 years old and I have tried just about everything on the market but Exposed Skin Care is the first product that has worked. My results have been life changing, for the first time I don't feel like I have to have make-up on to leave the house. Thank you! "- Maureen - Tulsa, OK

Money-Back Guarantee Exposed also comes with the best guarantee in the industry. Cure your acne within 30 days, or ask for a full refund.

What's the Downside? First, you must commit to following your acne skin care regimen. You need to be disciplined and consistent in your skin care regimen if you want results. As with many acne products, initially your skin may be irritated by benzoyl peroxide, but this sensitivity improves with use. Any quality product with this number of active ingredients will cost more than inferior over-the-couner acne products. The Basic Kit for Acne sells for around $49.95 for a 60 day supply.

When you break it all down, that comes out to less than a dollar a day. Think about it though, you could spend a lot more than that wasting money on products that don't really work. So, for less than the price of a latte at Starbucks, you could have clear skin.

Review Summary (5 of 5 stars) This is an excellent, top-of-the-line acne product for those who are willing to invest the time and money to achieve beautifully clear skin. Exposed offers a superior product to many competitiors, in addition to a full money-back guarantee. This is undoubtably one of the best acne treatments available on the market today. If you'd like to learn more about Exposed Acne Treatment, click here to visit their website and to purchase your kit.

What is Cystic Acne

Adult cystic acne treatment can only be administered when the doctor is confident of whatever the underlying problems are. The procedure will more likely than not consist of some tests specifically for the blood. Acne cyst, as opposed to blackheads and whiteheads, are normally large inflamed lesions filled with pus. When the contents of a clogged pore seeps into the skin, a local immune response is produced, causing the development of an acne cyst. That's why adult acne cysts are maybe the most painful form of acne breakouts. A cyst may look to be full of thick, white pus-like fluid.

Acne cysts are a common skin reaction to bacteria and pathogens. Bacteria (propionibacterium acnes) find their way into pores and inflame healthy cells living inside. Acne cysts are considered extremely painful and one of the most severe forms of acne and which usually occur in men and affects different parts of the body like back, chest regions except the face. There may be different symptoms of acne cysts that can distinguish it from formations of common acne on the skin. One of the main problem is that adult acne cysts can leave a depression on their own when they finally resolve. The longer the cyst is there, then the greater the chance of a depression, and finding the right adult acne cure for cystic acne is not always easy.

Cystic acne is a more severe form of common acne, or acne vulgaris. Papules are the most common form of pimple, comprising a reddish bump, which is usually not painful. Cystic acne is characterized by painful acne cysts or nodules. When the sebaceous glands (responsible for natural oil production) is blocked and infected, it will result to infection that could lead to the formation of painful cyst. Cystic acne is technically known as acne vulgaris or pimples.

Cystic acne heals extremely slowl because the infection waste is not discharged. If you experience regular breakouts involving cystic acne, it is important that you start using a cystic acne treatment right away to prevent scarring. Cystic acne can sometimes be considered severe acne , depending on the amount of cysts and other acne.

Natural Acne Remedy – Reduce Your Intake Of Sugar

Acne can be prevented or at the very least, reduced by minimizing the intake of daily sucrose, or sugar as it is more commonly known. Sugar is known to be unhealthy not only for those who wish to stay fit but also to those who do not want to aggravate their pimple problem.

Did you know that one of the substances that can boost ageing and acne is sugar? Yes, you heard me right. Excess sugar speeds up the ageing process of our body.

Unfortunately many people are not aware of it. If you have overloaded sugar content in your bloodstream, they will infuse the bloodstream and impair the protein molecules by simply sticking to it. Along the process, the collagen in the skin will be damaged as well. And this is when skin starts to be prone to pimple.

Instead of consenting to sugar-highs, opt for meals with lots of good essential fats instead of bad fatty acids. Essential fats will keep your cardiovascular in good condition and will protect your cells from cancer. These are commonly found in tuna, salmons and sardines. Reduce your consumption of soda and soft drinks as they contain a high amount of sugar content.

Keep your heart healthy by keeping you skin glowing, sounds like a fair trade to give up sugar right?

If you´re still not convinced, then try to reduce the consumption by starting on lessening the sugar you drop on lets say, your cup of coffee or tea or juice. Decrease this every week and before you knew it, you´d be kicking out sugar in your diet.

Consuming too much sugar not only causes acne problems, but also weight issues as well as a host of other medical problems such as diabetes.

The 3 Steps to Get Rid of Adult Acne

Getting rid of acne as an adult can be a bit more of a challenge then when we're teenagers. Why is it more difficult? Because for most of us we're some what set in our ways and routine. There are three main changes you can make that will help you get rid of adult acne, only one of which will really require you to make any drastic lifestyle changes.

Changing your Diet

Remember the statement we are what we eat? Well that's not far from the truth. If you frequently eat high fat and sugar foods then you're not doing yourself any favors when trying to get rid of adult acne.

Getting rid of those foods from your diet will reduce the amount of sebum (natural oil) that you get on your skin, this also helps your overall health and weight as well.Starting today cut out fast and processed foods as well as junk food snacks.

Quality Face Wash

You need to be using a good face wash daily that is clearing out your pores and hair follicles on your face. Regular soap might be fine for those that aren't suffering from adult acne, but those of us that do have complex skin need something more.

Ideally look for a product that contains benzoyl peroxide or salacylic acid. There are some great acne treatment products available which you can purchase in a kit form.

These 3 step systems usually contain a cleanser, spot or treatment gel, as well as a calmer that works to reduce the irritation to your skin.

A work while adult acne treatment to consider is Derma Cleanse. You can read more about their system in these Derma cleanse reviews.

Kill Acne Causing Bacteria

A quality acne spot gel will stop pimples when they first start and stop the bacteria from spreading around your face. While this is more of a maintenance issue it's good to get in the habit of using one now.

Also, to ensure you're not spreading acne around your face avoid touching or squeezing pimples.Popping zits and pimples is a bad habit, and can promote scars.

Choosing an Effective Acne Cream

Some of the most popular acne cream products today contain either antimicrobials or retinoids. Antimicrobials inhibit or kill acne causing bacteria. Retinoids, which are made from vitamin A, stop the formation of blackheads, whiteheads, and unclog the pores. Below are some examples of these.

Topical Antimicrobials

· Clindamycin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic. It reduces acne and lessens inflammation. Clindamycin has been proven to be safe and well tolerated. However, side effects such as irritation and skin dryness are possible. It decreases bacterial resistance caused by antibiotic use.

· Erythromycin has both antimicrobials and anti-inflammatory properties. Acne creams combining benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin have been proven to be quite effective. Side effects include dryness and irritation of the treated area. It can also decrease the bacterial resistance from antibiotic use.

Topical Retinoids

· Adapalene is a synthetic retinoid that unclogs pores and has moderate to potent anti-inflammatory properties. Minor skin irritation and dryness may occur with use.

· The first retinoid produced for topical (applied to skin) use was Tretinoin. Tretinoin is a natural retinoid which over time unclogs pores, and helps keep them unclogged. Burning, itching and redness are a few of the side effects that some users observe.

Topical Niacinamide (also called Nicotinamide)

After Vitamin-A derived retinoids, the most recent revolutionary treatment for acne comes from a substance called niacinamide. It is made from the B vitamin niacin.

In a New York University study, acne treatment and niacinamide was the subject, and 76 people were tested for the acne healing effects of 1% clindamycin gel compared to 4% Niacinamide gel. The preparations were used on moderate to inflammatory acne, twice daily for eight weeks.

RESULTS...68% of the Clindamycin patients improved, compared to 82% of Niacinamide treated patients. Moreover, since Clindamycin is widely known to diminish bacterial resistance, niacinamide is even more preferred.

4% Niacinamide creams/gels are one of the best acne treatments available for moderate to inflammatory acne. Some advantages are...

· It is safe and natural to keep using it for as long as necessary.
· It will not make your skin develop bacterial resistance unlike most antimicrobials.
· It is perfect for those who have sensitive and/or dry skin and can't tolerate retinoids very well.

Additionally, a 4% Niacinamide cream (such as Acnessential brand) can be applied alongside retinoids and antibiotics, or on its own.

I used to have horrible Acne a Short While Ago and it Ruined My Self-Esteem

Combating acne can be one of the hardest struggles to go through.  Sure, almost everyone gets acne at some point in their lives, this isn't enough to just "accept" it and be comfortable with living with acne.

I used to have horrible acne.  I was someone who was diagnosed as having "severe" acne.  I know exactly how devastating this can be to your self-esteem.  There were several times that I didn't want to leave the house because I was so embarrassed by the way my face looked.

I always thought people were looking at me and thinking about the way my skin had acne.  Sure, nobody came up to me and said it, but there was no question that people were starting at times.

As you can imagine, I never even thought about trying to have a girlfriend.  Yeah, I had crushes on girls, but I had absolutely no confidence in myself and figured I was too ugly to be dating.

Acne affected so many aspects of my life.  It wasn't just my skin that was in bad shape - I was in bad shape as a whole.  My lack of self-confidence affected my friendships, my lovelife and the way I felt about myself.

I was able to find the best acne treatment that worked for me.  I'm able to live without acne nowadays.  I tried a lots of different products before I found something that worked.  My main advice is to make sure you use a treatment that actually targets all of the causes of acne.  Otherwise you won't see the results you want.

And please - skip the prescription drugs.  They are ineffective in most cases, but some of them have bad side effects.

Just be sure not to get discouraged and to take action!  Check out some acne treatment reviews, grab the best acne treatment for you, and stick to it.

Now you can Get Rid of Acne and Have a Great Complexion

It might not seem like it right now but you can choose to get rid of your acne by using an acne solution treatment. If you're like most, and you probably are, you've tried every single spot treatment and face wash you can get at the local drug store, and none of them have worked. You know what, it's possible that none of those were the right product for you?

The skin care, cosmetics, and acne industries are huge ones, multi million dollars ones actually. Often large cosmetic and skin care companies are more interested in bringing a new product to market, that almost solves a serious skin care problem, but doesn't quite get the job done.

This leaves a bad tastes in your mouth, the consumer, and wondering if there is an acne solution treatment that can clear your skin permanently.

Well there is. and unless you've been hiding under a couch for the last couple of years you've probably seen an infomercial for the product I'm about to mention.

It's one of the most well known treatments, Proactiv does more PR then any other acne solution treatment out there.Proactiv has big name stars to promote their products such as Jessica Simpson, and their infomercials are all over major network television.

How exactly does this Acne Treatment work?

It doesn't matter a hill of beans who's name is on the product, at the end of the day consumers need to see the results they're promised. Can you be sure Proactive will Produce Results?

Well in a nutshell you can't be 100% sure it will work. Most of us have different skin types so a product that clears my breakouts may not do the same for you. There is some insurance you can take against acne solutions treatments. By reading customer testimonials, and other unbiased reviews you can build a case for if the product is likely to work for you or not.

Thanks to the high profile nature of this acne solution treatment there's no shortage of Proactiv reviews.I'd suggest you read several before you rush to buy. You want to know the pros and cons before spending any money and committing to a treatment regime for any length of time.

A Few Simple Acne Skin Care Solutions

For anyone suffering from acne, the need to find suitable acne skin care products is really important. Fortunately there are many such products available on the market today, which of course begs the question as to which of these products is the best. It pays to look at a few options that are worthy of being included in a list of best acne skin care products and the first name that you must consider in this regard is that of the Astara Blue Flame Purification Mask. This is a mask that has the scent of lavender and is very effective when used to treat acne. The Astara Blue Flame Mask is effective in combating existing acne conditions and preventing future breakouts of acne. It is certainly one of the better options that need to be considered when looking for an effective treatment for acne.

To begin with, for proper acne skin care it is recommended that you use a mild agent to cleanse the face, wash away any impurities and dust and unwanted oil from the skin on your face. Regular cleansing also helps in preventing further lesions on the face.

The third acne skin care product that is worth considering is the one known as the Neutrogena Cooling Mask. This is something that has been proven to be very effective in cleansing out pores, which when they are allowed to remain blocked will cause an outbreak of acne. The Neutrogena Cooling Mask is not an acne skin care product meant to cure or rid acne. Instead, it is meant to prevent future outbreaks of acne.

Another acne skin care option is using oils including lavender oil, bergamot oil, tea tree oil, rosewood and clove oil. Of course, you have to first dilute these oils and then apply the combination topically wherever acne is noticed on the skin. To get the maximum benefits also remember to add some drops of grape seed oil along with essential oils.

Bjore Blemish Bomb is an acne skin care product very similar to an acne patch and it also does its work overnight. PHisoderm 4-Way Daily Acne Cleanser is another option that has been found to be effective in treating various kinds of skin. It helps in cleaning and toning and fighting acne effectively and it can unblock blocked pores and also prevent future acne breakouts.

Of course, if you are interested in acne treatment skin care that involves natural products there are a few other options worth checking out. Many solutions can even be found among items that you normally use in the home on a daily basis including icy cool tea bags.

If however you feel that by using acne skin care products you will be able to achieve healthier and acne-free skin then there are a few options worth considering including Astara Blue Flame Purification Mask. Another option is ClearPores System that helps and even using skin cleansing washes will help you control your acne and also prevent future breakouts.

The Real Secret To Finding The Best Acne Treatments

Acne is often considered a problem that only affects teenagers, but the fact is both teens and adults deal with acne. And just as different people at different ages deal with it, there are a number of different acne treatment products or methods - no single one of which will work for everyone.

If you've ever looked at the acne treatment shelf in your local drug store, you've seen how many treatments there are. On top of these "over-the-counter" remedies, there are also various prescription treatments as well as complete skin care regimens like Proactiv Solution. This large selection can make it difficult to know which one to choose.

The best solution to finding the right solution for your particular case is to consult with your doctor or dermatologist. They will be able to determine the underlying cause of the acne, and the most effective acne treatment products or program for your particular case.

In spite of that, there are several tips for dealing with acne - they won't cure the problem but they can help stop it from getting worse or leaving scars that will be with you for years after the acne is long gone.

First, never squeeze or pick at your pimples. This can cause acne to spread, as well as cause scarring that can be difficult to treat once it occurs.

Another piece of advice is to pat your face dry, don't scrub it. It has long been thought that acne is due to dirty skin and poor hygiene so many people think that scrubbing their skin thoroughly will help.

The truth is that this can aggravate the acne and the surrounding skin and cause even more problems.

Poor hygiene is not what causes acne. It is caused by dead skin cells and sebum which clog the pores of the skin and lead to the visible pimples. Because the buildup is beneath the skin, scrubbing it does not get rid of it.

You do Have Options: Natural Cures for Acne

Acne is a common condition, one that usually begins during adolescence but which is typically only temporary and tends to go away by adulthood. For many people however the acne continues to progress and is a concern even in their adult years. Acne can range from being mild to so severe that it is almost debilitating, as many people do not even want to leave the house because they feel so embarrassed and ashamed about their condition.

There are cases however where the acne becomes too much or occurs too frequently and this is the point at which something needs to be done. Some people suffer from acne that is so severe that it actually begins to affect their sense of self and their general well-being.

The treatments that we hear about most for acne involve some sort of prescription medication, but you should know that there are also natural cures for acne that are available. This is good news for those people who would rather stick to safe, alternative methods of treatment as opposed to the more common, conventional methods.

One of the natural cures for acne involves yeast and lemon juice. All you need to do is mix one tablespoon of dried or fresh yeast with about two tablespoons of lemon juice, and then you apply on the face and wait until it gets hard, then you peel it off or wash it off with some warm water.

The coriander and mint juice therapy for acne is also very effective even with the most severe conditions, and for this recipe you need to mix a teaspoon of coriander juice and a pinch of turmeric powder. You apply this mixture onto the face after a thorough wash, and leave it on for several minutes before rinsing off.

Although many prescription drugs have proven to be very effective at treating and preventing acne problems, there are many people out there who would prefer to use more natural, alternative methods of treatment and for these people the home treatments for acne work great. You know exactly what is going into the product and that everything you are using is natural and therefore you can feel safe using it on your skin.

The best idea when it comes to natural cures for acne is to do a bit of trial and error. Everyone is different, and everyone’s acne condition is different as well. It may take a bit of time to find out what works for you but it will be well worth it once you do.
